By night, Joe hangs around Manhattan's music scene, writing songs that nobody hears. But when one of those songs becomes an accidental hit his two worlds collide. More hits follow and the lyrics gradually reveal the details of a secret love affair. In both his love and work lives, there are moral dilemmas, hard decisions and cruel consequences.
